Job Summary Supervise students in the Personal Support Worker - Clinical program, a program registered with the Ministry of Colleges and Universities. Follow CIMT College policies and procedures, use instructor manuals and resource materials to train students with the required knowledge and skills for employment. Duties and Responsibilities - Demonstrate thorough and accurate knowledge of the field. - Instruct curriculum using only pre‑authorized and provided materials. - Teach students through lectures, presentations, demonstrations, discussion groups, laboratory work, case studies, and independent or group projects. - Apply appropriate adult teaching and learning strategies for diverse students. - Administer and mark quizzes, assignments, exams and other assessments to monitor student progress. - Evaluate student performance fairly and consistently and return marks promptly. - Provide feedback on student performance. - Arrange feedback from students on the instructor, content, and facility at the end of each course. - Demonstrate sensitivity to student needs and individual circumstances in a multicultural setting. - Resolve student complaints and concerns professionally. - Maintain accurate attendance records. - Ensure classrooms are left clean and orderly, preserving equipment and resources. - Support the admissions team with prospective students’ program questions. - Participate in scheduled meetings and annual events such as graduation. - Maintain confidentiality of student privacy and information. - Stay current in subject matter through professional development. - Display teamwork and problem‑solving attitudes. - Perform other related duties as required. Skills Required - Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database systems. - Excellent oral and written communication; ability to adapt to diverse learning styles. - Professional business attire and interpersonal skills suitable for a mentor and role model. Qualifications - Minimum 36 months of work experience in the same vocation (PSW/RN/RPN). - Personal Support Worker with a college certificate and a NACC certificate from a PSW program post‑2015, or active RN/RPN registered under CNO. - Valid proof of Vulnerable Sector Check. - Valid proof of clear TB test result. - Experience in a Canadian clinical environment, preferably in long‑term care, hospital, community or chronic care settings as a personal support worker, RN, or RPN. - Bachelor's degree from a Canadian university or an equivalent degree, graduate of a College of Applied Arts and Technology, or equivalent. - Meet instructor qualification standards outlined in the regulations for Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005. - Available to teach in the assigned clinical facility per the accepted schedule. Working Hours Mon to Fri – Morning shift: 6:30 am/7 am to 2:30 pm/3 pm. Mon to Fri – Evening shift: 2:30 pm/3 pm to 10:30 pm/11 pm. Max 40 hrs/week. Pay Details Base pay rate: CAD $20/hour–$24/hour.
