Accident Benefits Insurance Learning Consultant Date: Apr 30, 2026
Location: Thornhill, ON, CA, L3T 7P9
Salary Range: *$59,500 - $91,500 CAD
Position Type: Existing position
What you will do
Consult with our business partners in Accident Benefits Claims to determine the learning needs of our Accident Benefits Adjusters
Design and develop learning programs, small to large scale, using the most effective and appropriate instructional methods/materials to provide and reinforce learning and enhance knowledge retention
Use your energetic attitude and engaging public speaking skills to present information using a variety of instructional techniques and formats
Stay current on the insurance industry, the Statutory Accident Benefit Schedule (SABS) as well as training and development trends, activities, and techniques to ensure you remain up to date with the industry
Qualifications
Post‑secondary degree/diploma and a degree/certificate (or willingness to obtain) in Adult Education
Minimum 5 years’ experience working as an Accident Benefits Claims Adjuster, adjudicating Non‑Catastrophic Accident Benefits Claims
Minimum 5 years of experience designing small to large scale learning programs using different delivery modalities, or a minimum 5 years of experience in training facilitation
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience using Articulate Storyline and Camtasia is preferred
Strong analytical skills
French language proficiency is an asset

The expected salary range for this position will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. This is a hybrid position. Travel required to offsite locations occasionally.
