Customer Experience Associate - Retail Operations The Customer Experience Associate– Retail Operations (CXARO) will deliver Operational Excellence that enables the Atlas Experience to customers that is Fun, Memorable, Personalized, Effortless, and Value Added.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver everyday Operational Excellence across the store, including replenishment, visual merchandising, Section Perfection standards, auto‑replenishment maintenance, inventory management, planogram design, event setup, warehouse maintenance, receiving, and analysis of reporting tools to enhance merchandising experience to drive sales.
Coordinate daily morning replenishment activities by flowing stock to the sales floor and assist the sales team in putting away replenishments.
Escalate auto‑replenishment issues, overstock, and inventory concerns to the Inventory team and perform cycle counts where required to correct discrepancies.
Execute out‑of‑stock procedures, perform inventory investigations, and follow SOP for escalation.
Ensure all sections are merchandised to the standard outlined in the Section Perfection Playbook, conduct scheduled store walks, and partner with the POD team to close gaps.
Adjust transfer order min/max levels and suggest adjustments to purchasing reorder min/max values based on SKU performance data.
Create interactive and engaging displays that encourage play and trial; partner with section associates and leaders on planning.
Maintain full bays and react daily to stock‑outs with extra facings, substitutes, and Black Dot Program as needed; partner with CXM and Purchasing to elevate stock deficiencies.
Replace empty hooks with adjacent double facings and substitutes per the Section Perfection Playbook Black Dot Program.
Maintain signage standards and coordinate with marketing/purchasing to execute large signage drops and event promotions.
Execute event setup by auditing flyers, product locations, and pricing using the Event Prep Checklist; collaborate with CXA and OXA teams.
Promote a culture of ongoing cleaning and section maintenance.
Provide customer interactions: acknowledge customers, filter them through appropriate sales channels, perform warm handoffs to CXA, and deliver service that is fun, memorable, personalized, effortless, and value‑added.
Embed Atlas Core Values in all customer interactions and act as an example to others.
Training, Development and Operational Practices
Grow product knowledge through in‑store training, cross‑training in warehouse functions, and self‑learning via websites, videos, and social media.
Engage in new associate training for merchandising and established operational routines; establish vendor relationships for problem solving.
Work with peers and stakeholders to address customer concerns and apply store policies and procedures.
Recognize security risks, follow loss‑prevention best practices, and pursue continuous improvement opportunities.
Maintain a safe and clean store environment in compliance with Health&Safety regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
Effective time management, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to build rapport with customers and co‑workers.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with flexibility for last‑minute changes.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills to extract insights from data and reports.
Ability to follow instructions and work self‑directed within a given framework.
Physical requirements: stand up to 9 hours, lift up to 50 lbs., frequent bending, twisting, pulling, climbing ladders, and use of equipment such as pallet jacks.
Work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays when required.
People‑smart, hospitality‑focused, curious with a growth mindset, and strong values.
Proficiency using computer ERP software, mobile technology, and applications.
Ability to follow written processes and procedures and thrive under high‑pressure situations.
Open to other duties assigned by Management and Ownership.
