Mobile STEAM Camp Instructor, Vaughan

Job Overview Summer Camp Facilitators will lead hands‑on STEAM, LEGO®, and robotics activities for children ages 3‑10 at multiple partner locations across North York, Midtown, Markham, and Richmond Hill.

Key Responsibilities

Travel daily to partner locations (own reliable vehicle required)

Facilitate STEAM, LEGO, and robotics activities for groups up to 20 children

Engage and inspire campers in a fun, hands‑on learning environment

Manage and transport up to 25 lbs of LEGO materials

Create an inclusive space that encourages creativity and teamwork

Qualifications

Passion for STEAM and experience working with children ages 3‑10

Energetic, outgoing personality with strong classroom management skills

Minimum of 1 year experience leading kids’ programs (summer camp, classroom, or similar)

Own a car and be comfortable driving daily

Strong organizational skills to manage weekly materials and schedules

Full availability from July 2 to August 29 (8‑week summer program)

CPR Level C and First Aid certification

Schedule&Compensation Seasonal, flexible hours– 1–6 hours per day (up to 20 hours per week)

Locations: North York, Markham, Richmond Hill

Pay: $18.50–$22.50 per hour (based on experience and ability to travel) plus up to $200 per month travel allowance.
