Toro Railings is seeking a skilled and dependable
Welder
to join our team in a unionized manufacturing environment. This existing role is well-suited for a quality-focused professional with strong welding experience and a commitment to safety and craftsmanship. This role is Monday to Thursday, 7:30am-4:00pm shift (though may be asked from time to time to also work Fridays as business needs may require).
Job Duties
Set up and operate welding machines according to instructions and specifications
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and job instructions to complete welding work accurately
Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet required quality standards
Inspect finished products for accuracy and compliance with specifications
Complete all required production, quality, and safety documentation in a timely manner
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, tools, and equipment
Follow all company and union safety rules, policies, and procedures at all times
Perform other general duties as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor
Requirements
Valid
CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) certification
is required
Proven experience with
MIG and TIG welding , particularly in structural welding applications
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
Ability to work effectively in a
unionized environment
and as part of a team
