Description
Sampogna Law Firm deal with a wide range of legal areas. Currently we are looking for several lawyers with a minimum of three years of post-call experience with Civil, or Construction, or Corporate and Commercial law. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives both independently and as part of a dynamic team. Solid communication skills, tenacity, and intellectual curiosity are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Correspond with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance companies - Draft pleadings, motions, mediation briefs, proposals, etc. - Conduct legal research and review and summarize medical records - Attend case conferences, Examinations for Discovery, and other proceedings as instructed by senior counsel - Settle files - Maintain knowledge of and effectively apply the Rules of Civil Procedure Qualifications: - Minimum three years of post-call litigation experience. - Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong legal research and analytical abilities. - Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
