Audio Visual Design Engineer (Vaughan)

We are working with a fast growing A/V integration firm that specializing in designing, installing, and maintaining smart automation, lighting control, and audiovisual (AV) systems across residential and commercial projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented designer who wants to work on high-end residential and commercial projects while supporting and learning from Senior Design Engineers.

About the Role:

You will focus primarily on system design and project estimating for premium AV, lighting, shading, and networking installations. This is a hands-on design role where you’ll take ownership of designs handed off from Senior Designers and help drive projects from the proposal stage through to execution support.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and develop detailed system designs for AV, control, lighting, and networking systems
• Prepare accurate project estimates and bills of materials using D-Tools (required)
• Support the sales team with technical proposals and system layouts
• Assist the project execution team with drawings, documentation, and coordination
• Work with Bluebeam for markups and drawing reviews
• Help maintain high standards across both luxury residential and commercial projects

What We’re Looking For

• Background or strong interest in AV, low voltage, or construction coordination
• Comfortable with system design and estimating
• D-Tools experience is required
• Proficiency in Bluebeam is a strong asset
• Nice-to-have: AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Visio
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative
• Ability to work effectively with both sales and field teams
