Machine Operator Vaughan

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining machinery to ensure productive production processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with manufacturing environments, and familiarity with various tools and equipment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a agile warehouse setting where safety, precision, and teamwork are paramount. Duties Operate industrial machinery and equipment according to safety protocols and production standards. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to set up, adjust, and troubleshoot machinery. Assist with the assembly of products or components as needed. Maintain accurate records of production output and machine performance. Follow safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or equipment damage. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and resolve operational issues promptly. Requirements Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, machanic job or warehouse environments is preferred. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on machinery. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques. Warehouse experience is a plus, especially involving forklift operation (certification preferred). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Robust safety awareness and adherence to safety procedures. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required. Basic reading, writing, and communication skills necessary for documentation and teamwork.
