Operations Vice-President – Goods Production, Utilities, Transportation and Construction Location: Concord, ON L4K 2Z7 Salary: 58.00 hourly / 30 hours per week Terms of employment: Permanent, Full Time Responsibilities Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions Coordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions Qualifications Experience: 5 years or more Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office, MS Windows Supervision: 5‑10 people Work must be completed at the physical location; no remote option Quick‑paced workplace; work under pressure Interpersonal awareness; team player Valid driver’s licence Criminal record check Eligibility Applicants must be: a permanent resident of Canada or a temporary resident with a valid work permit .
