Line Cook (North York)

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to work with us as a WEEKEND Line Cook. ROLE: As a Line Cook, your role is to safely and efficiently cook, and plate the signature dishes our guests know and love – for both dine-in and takeout. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment is paramount and your job will require you to demonstrate a high degree of cooperation and teamwork. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Accept and prioritize incoming orders. - Grill, cook, fry, broil and prepare food based on our in-house recipes. - Ensure food is consistently plated presentably, in line with brand standards. - Coordinate with serving and bakery staff to ensure order accuracy. - Clean and maintain a sanitary workspace - using the necessary cleaning products - Label all products with the date of production - Maintain a sanitary, tidy, and secure area - Perform basic cleaning duties in the kitchen REQUIREMENTS: - Must have previous experience working in a professional kitchen (minimum 2 years as a line cook) - Must be able to stand for a majority of a shift 6-10 hours - Must be able to lift 40lbs - Must be able to move quickly and adapt to a fast-paced workplace - Must be respectful and inclusive of various cultures - Must be able to work evenings and at least one weekend day.
