Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with experience in food service environments. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to specifications, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Duties - Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards - Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients - Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations - Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment - Follow food safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness - Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests or servers - Support the team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks - Adhere to restaurant policies regarding portion control, presentation, and timing Qualifications - Previous experience in food industry roles such as restaurant or kitchen experience preferred - Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards - Strong understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation practices - Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction - Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team - Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed Join our team as a Line Cook if you are passionate about creating delicious meals, ensuring safety standards are met, and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
