About The Role Art for Everyday is seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping and Packaging Associate. The ideal candidate will have a serious and responsible work ethic, taking ownership of their tasks with focus and professionalism. This role is crucial to our client experience, as it is responsible for the final stages of our process, including quality inspection, product packaging, and outbound shipment coordination for our unique woodcarvings. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that every product leaving our facility not only meets our high-quality standards but also reaches our customers accurately and on time in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Be Doing - Inspecting finished woodcarvings to ensure they meet the highest quality standards. - Packing, labeling, and preparing shipments with exceptional care and attention to detail. - Coordinating with carriers to arrange pickups and manage outbound deliveries efficiently. - Keeping accurate records of shipped orders and tracking information using our computer systems. - Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked shipping area. - Following all safety protocols when handling products and equipment. What We're Looking For - Punctual and Dependable: You consistently arrive on time and can be relied upon to meet deadlines. - Strong Work Ethic: You are a serious, responsible, and focused individual who takes ownership of your work. - Attention to Detail: You ensure accurate packaging, labeling, and order handling, taking pride in getting things right. - Eager to Learn: You are open to training, willing to learn our processes, and committed to improving your skills over time. - Physically Capable: You are comfortable standing for extended periods and able to handle and lift moderately heavy boxes (up to 30 lbs) as required. - Calm and Composed: You can maintain focus and work efficiently under pressure, especially during busy or rushed situations. - Professional and Team-Oriented: You are a productive team player who maintains a professional and focused demeanor during work hours. - Skilled Communicator: You have excellent English communication skills and robust computer abilities for preparing labels and maintaining records. - Basic Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Previous experience or basic knowledge in packaging and shipping is a bonus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Working Conditions - This is a physical role in a fast-paced workshop/warehouse environment that requires regular lifting, standing, and hands-on work.
