Medical Receptionist (North York)

Medical Receptionist at North York Otolaryngology Associates We are looking for a full-time medical receptionist to start immediately at our busy practice of 4 otolaryngologists – head and neck surgeons. You would be working with a collegial team of other receptionists to help patients access care and coordinate their treatment plans. Our office is conveniently located beside Bessarion TTC station and free parking is available. We are looking for candidates with the following: - Reliability and solid work ethic - Excellent telephone and verbal communication skills - Organizational skills and ability to pay attention to detail - Strong computer skills - Experience with Accuro EMR is an asset - Familiarity with medical terminology is an asset Job Duties: - Schedule and coordinate clinic appointments - Schedule and coordinate operative procedures at the hospital - Greet patients and help manage patient flow - Answering phone calls and responding to emails Compensation: - Starting salary of $20/hour - $1000 per year of extended health and dental benefits Experience/Qualifications: - Post-secondary degree and/or diploma in a related field - At least 1 year experience working in a medical administrative field preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Benefits: - Dental care - Extended health care Ability to commute/relocate: - North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): - Do you speak any languages other than English?
