Position: Part-time or Full-time Veterinary Receptionist Hours: 20-40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will be required to work every other weekend during our emergency hours. What You'll Do: - Client Interaction: Greet clients and their pets warmly, providing a welcoming atmosphere. - Appointment Management: Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficient use of clinic resources. - Communication: Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and patient care. - Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients. - Payment Processing: Handle billing and payment transactions with accuracy and professionalism. - Animal Care: Assist with basic animal care tasks as needed, ensuring our patients feel comfortable. Who We're Looking For: - Experience: Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred. - Customer Service Skills: Strong background in customer service, with the ability to handle inquiries and concerns effectively. - Work Ethic: Strong ability to work independently and a commitment to excellence. - Multitasking Ability: Thrive in a fast-paced workplace with excellent prioritization skills. - Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Team Player: A positive attitude and a collaborative spirit. Clinic Hours: - Monday to Thursday: 9 AM - 7 PM - Friday: 9 AM - 12 AM (Emergency hours after 7 PM) - Saturday: 9 AM - 12 AM (Emergency hours after 2 PM) - Sunday: 8 AM - 12 AM (Emergency hours) Note: Emergency hours are subject to change.
