Sprinkler Fitter, Inspection & Maintenance (Concord)

Location : Toronto Salary range : $55.72/hr, based on the current Local 853 agreement Position open in the organization : 1 Job Description Reporting to the Inspections Division Manager, the person will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of clients’ mechanical Fire Protection systems. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Inspect and test fire sprinkler systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards - Identify deficiencies and document inspection results accurately - Complete and submit inspection reports within required timelines - Carry out or coordinate follow‑up repairs or corrective actions as needed - Respond to client questions, briefly explain the work performed, and provide maintenance recommendations - Work safely and efficiently by following health and safety procedures and properly maintaining tools and testing equipment. Success Factors - Sprinkler Fitter and Fire Protection Journeyperson - 3 years of relevant experience in the fire protection field - Experience in Sprinkler inspections (an asset) - Ability to work well independently - Valid driver’s license - Robust customer service skills Why Join Viking? - Viking values, respects, and supports the interests of its employees from all walks of life.
