Assistant Store Manager
As the Assistant Store Manager, you provide leadership and direction to the store team while executing the company’s vision under the direction of the Store Manager. You assist in maximizing store profitability by achieving sales goals and ensuring high standards for merchandising, operations, staffing and community engagement. In the Store Manager’s absence, you assume responsibility for the store. What You Will Do
Maximize store sales, achieve store sales goals and monitor progress against key targets. Inspire and model a consumer‑centric mindset by exemplifying selling behaviors through genuine interactions with customers. Support the Store Manager with networking, attracting, recruiting, and interviewing high‑caliber talent. Provide direct coaching, feedback, training and supervision of associates, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Demonstrate clear communication, training and coaching to set expectations on customer engagement, store policies and procedures, fostering a strong team. Assist in managing expenses to maximize sales and profitability. Cultivate an environment of productivity by ensuring the store team has the knowledge and skills to meet store goals for sales and customer engagement. Skills for Success
3+ years of professional retail management experience. Ability to drive results through store teams and meet business goals. Flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings and holidays. Strong coaching and motivation skills to elevate sales and profit results. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solution oriented and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment. Formal education is a plus, but total experience and achievements are the priority. What’s in it For You – Perks
