JR PROJECT MANAGER Our team is growing again! Great North Drain Ltd. is a sewer and watermain contractor located in the GTA. We believe the combination of our team’s hard work and expertise will provide incredible success for all of our unique clients. We combine the right knowledge, hands on skilled trades and machines to ensure no underground job is too complex to be completed to the highest standard. We are looking for a JR Project Manager in the civil sector to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate possesses the below qualifications and experience: Job Description: a. Adhere to company policies and procedures b. Scheduling c. Preparation of progress certificates and other invoices d. Budgeting e. Material Ordering and check and review materials (includes organizing and checking packing slips) f. Material submissions for approval and sign off g. Purchase Orders, including detailed take offs h. Request for Information (RFIs) i. Estimating j. Frequent site visits to monitor and manage Site Supervisors/ General Supervisors k. Frequent communication with Site Supervisors, General Supervisors and formen on direction and information l. Manage/Correspond with subcontractors regarding pricing scheduling and invoicing (including change order approvals) m. Review of contracts prior to signing. n. General correspondence with other parties such as clients, consultants and inspectors. o. Help with healthy and safety obligations, including but not limited to daily logs, machine check lists and safety checks. p. Assist with filing and general office organization q. Promoting excellent working relationships with all co-workers to maintain an excellent working environment and culture r. Performing any other relevant duties assigned to you by Sr Project Managers Qualifications - Post-secondary diploma or degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited College or University - 3-5 years of construction related experience (project estimating experience is preferred) - Previous experience using the B2W software considered an asset - Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting daily deadlines in a consistent manner - Ability to develop robust working relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors - Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office software - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Adaptable to flexible work scheduled when required to meet deadlines Job Type: Full-time Main Office: Woodbridge Location: Office and Site Experience: - Construction: 2 years (Preferred) - Project Management: 2 years (Preferred) - Estimating: 2 years (Preferred) Language: English (Preferred) Salary is based upon individual's experience and education Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pt2o5
