Medical Office Assistant (Vernon)

Overview We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Medical Office Assistant to join our family medicine team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative healthcare environment and values strong communication, organization, and computer skills. Previous medical office experience is considered an asset, but is not required for candidates who demonstrate solid transferable skills or experience in related fields. Position Details - Schedule: 4 days per week, Monday to Friday - Hours: 8hrs - Early shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM - Late shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM - No weekend or statutory holiday work - Opportunities for additional hours available through holiday relief coverage - Starting wage: Negotiable based on experience level Duties - Greeting and assisting patients in person and by phone - Scheduling appointments and managing clinic flow - Communicating effectively with patients, physicians, and other administrative staff - Managing day-to-day clinical tasks and various office duties Qualifications/Skills - Strong computer literacy (Note - experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) is an asset, but not required) - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational and managerial abilities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour Benefits - Flexible schedule Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o32ig
