Outside Services Assistant Mara Hills Golf Resort Location: Sicamous, BC, Canada Department: Golf Reports To: Head Golf Professional / Golf Qualified Staff Classification: Full Time Seasonal, Part Time Seasonal (must be available to work any shift including early mornings, days, evenings on weekdays, weekends and/or holidays) Wage: $17.85/hour (Potential for more dependent on qualifications & availability) Part time volunteer opportunities in exchange for golf privileges are also available. We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Outside Services Assistant and Greeter. As an integral member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our golf cart fleet and providing a warm and welcoming experience to all who visit our course. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of golf carts, including washing, waxing and refueling as needed Conduct inspections of golf carts to ensure they are in proper working condition and report any issues or concerns to management immediately Assist with minor repairs and troubleshooting of golf cart equipment, such as battery maintenance and tire inflation Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance with loading golf bags onto carts Provide information and directions to guests as needed and answer any questions about course amenities or services Monitor the pace of play on the course and communicate with golfers and fellow staff members to ensure an enjoyable and efficient golf experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of staging areas and cart storage facilities Collaborate with other members of the golf course staff to provide outstanding customer service and support overall operations Qualifications: Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is an asset Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality Ability to work productively unsupervised as well as with other team members Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn golf cart maintenance tasks Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Valid driver''s license and clean driving record Benefits: Competitive hourly wage Opportunities for advancement and professional development within the golf course operation Employee discounts on golf, merchandise and dining A supportive work environment with a shared passion for providing exceptional service to our guests If you are a customer-focused individual with a love for golf and a desire to contribute to the success of our golf course, we encourage you to apply for the Outside Services Assistant position at Mara Hills Golf Resort.
