Mobile Crane Operator (Vernon)

We are looking for driven individuals with positive attitudes to fill our position of Crane Operator in our Precast Plant. Day Shift: 7 AM to 3 PM, Monday to Friday. Overtime required. What we offer: - A positive work environment and culture - Competitive compensation - Excellent benefits package - On the job training - Advancement opportunities - Company events - Employee assistance program - Home every night Job Duties (but not limited to) - Operate Hydraulic Mobile Cranes up to 80 tons for loading and unloading of trucks. Stripping new precast elements off deck in morning with single or duel crane lifts. - Perform rigging operations with all the cranes, hand rigging, and all other tasks as assigned to rigging team. - Perform pre-operational inspections, including hazard assessments, identify rigging required for tasks, and calculate weights to prepare for rigging and hoisting. - Maintenance of accessories & rigging. - Perform routine maintenance work. - Be able to effectively complete all assigned tasks unsupervised. - Operate power tools. - Do other duties in the plant when cranes are not operating. - Adherence to Rapid-Span’s health and safety program. Requirements: - Must have Hydraulic Mobile Crane 80T License or equivalent. - Must have minimum 3 year’s experience working and rigging with Mobile Cranes. - Must know all hand signals for directing crane operator. - Ability to lift, push, and carry 50lbs repeatedly. - Be able to effectively communicate with team members. - Demonstrate robust organizational skills. - Be able to effectively solve problems.
