Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Admin Assistant to support our office operations. The ideal candidate will have strong clerical skills, proficiency in various software tools, and excellent customer service abilities. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and multitasking are essential. The Admin Assistant will play a vital role in maintaining efficient office workflows, managing correspondence, and supporting daily administrative functions. Responsibilities - Manage front desk duties, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy - Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks - Maintain organized filing systems both electronically and physically, ensuring easy retrieval of documents - Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars for staff and clients - Support bookkeeping activities, including invoicing, billing, and basic financial record keeping - Prepare correspondence, reports, and proofreading documents for accuracy and clarity - Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly via phone or email - Handle administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and organizing office supplies Qualifications - Proven experience in administrative roles or clerical work with strong organizational skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and QuickBooks preferred - Excellent computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly - Strong typing speed with high accuracy; experience with data entry is a plus - Knowledge of front desk procedures, multi-line phone systems, and phone etiquette - Previous customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and effective communication skills - Experience working in medical or dental offices is advantageous but not required - Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Demonstrated proofreading skills and organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour Benefits - Casual dress - Company events - Extended health care - Versatile schedule - In office parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2otspq
