Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Production Worker to join our cannabis processing team located in Salmon Arm. The ideal candidate will support cannabis processing and packaging operations in a fast-paced environment while ensuring products meet strict quality, sanitation, and safety standards. This position offers the opportunity to build valuable production experience while contributing to daily operations as part of a collaborative team.Responsibilities
Perform cannabis packaging and processing duties Accurately weigh, sort, and prepare cannabis products for packaging and distribution Maintain cleanliness of work areas Conduct visual quality inspections to ensure products meet quality expectations Assist with inventory management, including counting and organizing materialsParticipate in training and ongoing compliance programs Follow all workplace safety procedures and Health Canada regulations during daily operations Qualifications
Prior experience in production, packaging, processing, or related industries is considered an asset but is not required Basic math skills for weighing, counting, and quality checks Understanding of sanitation and hygiene procedures within a regulated production environment (ProcessSafe certificate required)Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow detailed instructions Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Must have reliable transportation to and from the facility Must be at least 19 years of age and eligible to work in CanadaMust have no history of drug-related charges in accordance with Health Canada requirements Benefits
