Spa Receptionist (Revelstoke)

Mint Day Spa is seeking a receptionist! Located downtown Revelstoke, Mint is a fast growing, upscale day spa with a supportive and passionate team. Come to work in a heritage building with custom-built rooms, electric beds and tall windows that provide stunning mountain views throughout. As an employee you will receive stat, sick and vacation pay, and staff discounts on product and services. As the Mint Day Spa Receptionist, you are the face of Mint and the first point of contact for our customers. It is your job to check customers in and out, book appointments and maintain the schedule, upkeep the spa rooms and reception area, collect payments, and most importantly, support the practitioners. Responsibilities: - Greeting all clients in a qualified and friendly manner - Scheduling and confirming appointments - Answering phone calls and emails - Handling cash and card payments - Opening and closing the spa - Providing information regarding spa services and products - Sanitization of tools and spa equipment - Cleaning and folding laundry Requirements: - 2 years experience in customer service - Friendly, outgoing, and professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills - Proficient in typing and computer use, including navigating booking software, email, and basic office applications - Experience with point-of-sale systems and handling cash/card payments - Strong time management skills and ability to maintain and organize a schedule - Must be comfortable going up and down stairs multiple times per day - Ability to carry laundry bags and supply boxes between floors (moderate weight) - Able to perform physical tasks related to spa upkeep, including cleaning and resetting treatment rooms and common areas Assets (not required): - Spa experience - Retail sales experience - Cleaning or housekeeping experience - Excel and Microsoft Word skills Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Benefits: - On-site parking - Paid time off - Store discount Education: - Secondary School (preferred) Experience: - customer service: 2 years (required) Language: - English (required) Location: - Revelstoke, BC (required) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pjh6g
