Summary Join our team as a Meat Slicer & Packaging Worker at Helmut's Sausage Kitchen in Vernon. In this role, you will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, traditional and innovative sausage products while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Slice and prepare meats according to established recipes and safety standards. Package finished products ensuring quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment. Follow food safety protocols at all times. Assist in inventory management and stock rotation. Support team members in daily operations. Ensure compliance with health regulations and company policies. Qualifications Proven experience in food handling, meat slicing, or a related role within the food industry. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace. Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Previous experience in packaging is a plus. Position starts at a training wage of $18.25 per hour.
