Adecco is currently hiring a full-time talented and passionate Sous Chef on behalf of our client in Nakusp, BC. This year-round opportunity is ideal for a culinary professional with strong technical skills and a creative approach to elevated pub-style dining.
The successful candidate will be a collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and is committed to delivering exceptional food quality and memorable guest experiences.
Pay Rate: Up to $27/hour

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Head Chef and front-of-house team to deliver outstanding guest experiences
Assist with daily meal preparation and execution of menu items
Contribute to menu planning, feature development, and culinary creativity
Support ordering, receiving, and inventory management processes
Maintain appropriate stock levels, rotation, and kitchen organization
Set up and manage kitchen stations with required prep and supplies
Prepare and cook menu items with consistency, quality, and attention to detail
Ensure all food handling, storage, and preparation meet health and safety standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
Follow all Occupational Health&Safety, Food Safe, and WHMIS guidelines
Qualifications and Skills
Valid Food Safe Certificate
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar Sous Chef or senior line cook role
Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Strong teamwork, organizational, and time-management skills
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Passion for food, creativity, and continuous improvement
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
