Line Cook and Prep Cook (Victoria)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in supporting the overall kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a VERY fast pass establishment. Responsibilities - Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards - Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards - Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times - ensuring timely delivery to customers - Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces - Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operation - Stock and restock kitchen supplies as needed, including ingredients and utensils - Adhere to all health regulations and safety protocols to ensure a safe working workplace Experience - Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates - Familiarity with restaurant operations, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards is a plus - Experience with meal preparation, serving, and food handling in a fast-paced environment is advantageous - Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices will be beneficial for success in this role This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary arts to gain hands-on experience in a fast pass kitchen setting.
