Based in **Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, or Edmonton** , you’ll contribute to projects that protect communities, support sustainable development, and advance water treatment innovation across Western Canada. #GlobalMining **Your Impact** + Deliver water and wastewater treatment projects that support industrial, mining, and municipal clients across Western Canada. + Lead or support project management activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards. + Develop strong working relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary WSP teams. + Prepare high‑quality technical reports, specifications, process schematics, and layout drawings. + Perform process analysis and design including technology selection, equipment sizing, hydraulic analysis, mass balances, modeling, and 3D layouts. + Review and enhance technical work completed by junior engineers, ensuring accuracy and consistency. + Mentor and support junior colleagues through hands‑on training and knowledge sharing. + Balance multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to evolving schedules and priorities. **The Skills That Set You Apart** + Undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering with **registration as a P.Eng. in Canada** . + **5–10 years of relevant experience** in water and wastewater treatment projects. + Proven experience in process modeling, technology selection, and equipment specification. + Working knowledge of **HYSYS/HYSIM, OLI, or METSIM** (considered an asset). + Strong technical writing, verbal communication, and stakeholder coordination skills. + Experience with project management, proposal development, and engineering cost estimates. + Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams. + Field, construction, and commissioning experience considered an asset; valid driver’s license required. **Why Choose WSP?** Why Choose WSP?
