Live-in Caregiver (Victoria)

Our Work Environment Includes - All meals provided during placement - Comprehensive on-the-job training - A safe, supportive, and respectful work environment Job Summary As a Live-In Caregiver, you’ll support clients in their home environment over 24-hour shifts, three days on and four days off per week. You’ll provide daily care, companionship, and specialized support as outlined in each individual’s service plan. We are especially seeking caregivers with experience supporting individuals with COPD and other chronic respiratory conditions. Hours 24/7 2 consecutive days on, 2 consecutive days off, 1 day on, 2 consecutive days off Duties: - Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing - Provide companionship and emotional support - Administer medications as per service plan - Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping - Assist with mobility and transfers - Monitor and report changes in health or well-being - Provide support for clients with respiratory conditions and other specialized needs Who You Are - Caring, patient, and deeply empathetic - Reliable and comfortable working independently - Experienced in caregiving - Knowledgeable about COPD care and assisted living practices - Strong communicator with valuable interpersonal skills - Able to administer medications confidently and responsibly Requirements: - Reside in Victoria, BC, Canada - Able to commit to a live-in care placement with three ( 2 days on, 2 days off, 1 day on, 2 days off) 24-hour shifts per week - French not required Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual Pay: $280.00 per day Experience: - COPD: 1 year (preferred) Location: - Victoria, BC (required) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2obane
