Overview Gorge Road Hospital (GRH) - Victoria, BC V9A 1L2 CA (Primary). Work Area (FBA Only): GRH. Multi-Site. Travel between multiple sites is a regular/on-going requirement. Shift Start Time/End Time: 7:30-3:30; As required. Days Off: As required. Vacancy Type: Casual. Salary Range (Hourly Rate): $41.35 - $41.35. Planned Start Date: Apr. 1 2026. Approximate End Date (For Temporary Assignments ONLY): Pending Return of Incumbent. CRC required? Responsibilities In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, and Values, and strategic direction of the Vancouver Island Health Authority, patient safety is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone at VIHA; as such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor or designate, performs skilled electrical work at the journeyman level in installing, constructing, altering, repairing, maintaining and servicing electrical equipment and systems for a multi-site operation. Operates and maintains building systems and equipment.

Qualifications Education, Training And Experience Certificate of Apprenticeship and Trades Qualification Certificate as a journeyman Electrician recognized by the Province of BC Two years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Class 5 BC Driver's license.
