Company: Confidential EV Automotive Distribution Group Employment Type: Full-Time Executive Position A rapidly growing automotive distribution group is seeking an experienced Automotive General Manager to lead the launch and expansion of a new electric vehicle distribution operation in Canada. This is a senior executive-level chance focused on national operations, dealership development, manufacturer coordination, compliance, service infrastructure, and long-term business growth. The successful candidate must have extensive automotive industry experience and strong operational leadership capability. Main Responsibilities - Lead overall Canadian automotive distribution operations - Develop and manage dealership network relationships - Oversee service, warranty, and after-sales operations - Coordinate with overseas vehicle manufacturers and suppliers - Assist with Transport Canada, compliance, and regulatory requirements - Build operational systems, staffing structure, and reporting processes - Support inventory planning, logistics, and parts distribution - Assist with showroom and service center development - Manage executive-level automotive operations and growth strategy - Work closely with ownership on national expansion plans Required Qualifications - Minimum 15 years automotive industry experience - Strong dealership, OEM, or automotive distribution background - Experience managing large automotive operations preferred - Strong understanding of dealer development and after-sales systems - Knowledge of Canadian automotive regulatory environment preferred - Experience with EV operations is an asset - Strong leadership, negotiation, and operational management skills - Ability to build systems and scale operations nationally Preferred Background Candidates with experience from major automotive brands, dealership groups, OEM operations, automotive import/distribution companies, or national automotive management roles are strongly encouraged to apply.
