Japanese Head Spa Technician / Spa Therapist (Harris Green)

Overview Japanese Head Spa by Ana is a boutique luxury wellness spa in Victoria, BC specializing in Japanese Head Spa scalp treatments, relaxation rituals, and premium scalp and hair care services. We are seeking a skilled, caring, and detail-oriented Spa Therapist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about wellness, relaxation treatments, and providing exceptional client experiences in a calm, professional setting. Responsibilities - Perform Japanese Head Spa treatments including scalp cleansing, scalp massage, hair washing rituals, and relaxation treatments - Provide excellent customer service and ensure clients feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the treatment - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of treatment rooms, tools, and equipment - Prepare treatment rooms before and after each appointment - Educate clients on scalp care, hair care, and recommended treatments - Assist with reception duties when needed (greeting clients, cleaning, laundry, organizing products) - Follow all hygiene and safety standards - Maintain a professional and positive attitude with clients and team members Requirements - Experience in spa, salon, esthetics, massage, or wellness industry preferred - Esthetician or spa-related certification is an asset (not mandatory; training will be provided until the technician is fully comfortable performing treatments independently) - Strong customer service and communication skills - Attention to detail and cleanliness - Willingness to learn Japanese Head Spa techniques and protocols - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Primarily afternoon to evening hours (approximately 3–4 pm to 8 pm, typically serving 2 clients per day). The standard schedule is Monday to Friday or any other set of five consecutive days (e.g., Sunday to Thursday). Availability to work a Monday to Sunday schedule, while maintaining up to two days off per week, is considered an asset but is not required for this position.
