Job Description We are seeking a motivated and experienced General Maintenance Worker to perform a variety of property maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and takes pride in high-quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities - Perform routine repairs (e.g., drywall patching, painting, door repairs, light plumbing/electrical) - Conduct inspections and identify issues needing repair - Maintain cleanliness and safety standards at worksites - Complete tenant work orders and turnover tasks on time - Assist with renovation prep and finish work - Communicate effectively with clients, team leads, and supervisors - Drive to job sites around Greater Victoria Qualifications - Proven experience in general property maintenance or a skilled trade - Valid BC Driver’s License and reliable transportation - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Strong problem-solving and time management skills - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in tight spaces - Basic hand and power tools required (tool allowance available) - Strong Problem solving skills - independent working skills Nice to Have - WHMIS, Fall Protection, or First Aid certification - Experience working with property management or strata companies What We Offer - Competitive hourly wages based on experience - Flexible schedule options - Opportunity to grow into supervisory or specialized roles - Supportive team environment - Company merch, gear discounts Job Types: Full-time, Part time, Casual Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour Benefits: - Flexible schedule Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p005s
