Duties - Operate and maintain a variety of heavy equipment including excavators, backhoes, loaders, and skidsteers. - Perform tasks such as digging, loading, grading, and backfilling according to project requirements. - Ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently to meet project deadlines. - Collaborate with the team to complete projects in a timely manner while upholding quality standards. - Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning. - Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols on job sites. Requirements - Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with excavators. - Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment. - Experience in bulk excavations, road preparation, landscaping, and civil pipework is advantageous. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
