Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cooks to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to order, and ensuring all food safety standards are maintained. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients efficiently. Cook dishes according to recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist with food preparation tasks such as marinating, portioning, and plating dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing work surfaces. Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations. Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations throughout shifts. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or food industry roles is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly. Solid understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment are advantageous.
