Configuration Management Specialist Location: Victoria, British Columbia, CA, V8Z 0B9 Onsite or Hybrid: Victoria, BC (Permanent) Expected Salary: $67,021 to $87,965 Your Role In this role, you will work as a Configuration Management Specialist on a large Naval program, ensuring configuration data integrity and compliance with defined standards. You will collaborate with engineering and other stakeholders to support interface requirements, manage data clean‑up, and resolve configuration issues. Responsibilities Support the configuration‑management infrastructure for a large Naval program to meet customer obligations. Support configuration data change traffic during submarine work‑periods. Process customer & company data records. Work directly with Engineering and other internal stakeholders to ensure the required interface support is in place to meet program obligations. Work within a small team dedicated to resolution of configuration issues. Manage the clean‑up and correction of existing configuration data while supporting the structuring of data for transition to modernised tool sets. Work with the Configuration Management team in problem report resolutions for newly codified and/or existing materiel and complete Impact Assessments (IAs). Qualifications Post‑secondary education (credentials in a technical field considered an asset). 4+ years related experience with at least one year embedded in (or working closely with) configuration management for a Naval or Aerospace program (or in a similar environment/sector). Experience with the application of a formal configuration management standard (e.g., EIA‑649C) to products and supporting documentation. Experience with standard Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) as part of regular tasks. Excellent organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment. Technical knowledge to interpret material technical data considered an asset. Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors). Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Flexibility to operate and self‑driven to excel in a fast‑paced environment. Eligibility for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance. Benefits 100% employer‑paid health and dental premiums.
