Literacy Tutor - Writing and Reading (Victoria)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Tutor to provide personalized educational support to students across various age groups. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in English and have a passion for helping students succeed. Duties - Conduct one-on-one or group tutoring sessions in subjects such as language, writing, or other academic areas. - Deliver customized lesson plans tailored to each student’s learning style and needs. - Assist students with homework, exam preparation, and skill development. - Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment to boost student confidence. - Work with children in various educational settings, ensuring safety and engagement during sessions. Experience - Prior experience in tutoring or teaching is preferred, especially with classroom experience. - Fluency in English is highly desirable. - Solid writing skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly. - Experience working with children is a plus, demonstrating patience and adaptability. - Familiarity with different teaching methods and educational tools to support diverse learning styles.
