As a Distribution Line Engineer, you will work on designing resilient power systems in any of WSP's BC offices. This role allows you to influence energy delivery through low to medium voltage design and hands-on exposure to real power challenges. You'll collaborate with engineers and stakeholders while receiving mentorship and training essential for advancing your engineering career. Key Responsibilities: • Develop utility project designs from small requests to large reconfigurations • Ensure seamless project delivery by coordinating with clients and project managers • Prepare design packages for overhead and underground systems • Perform quality reviews for accuracy and compliance • Conduct site visits and support construction phases Requirements: • Engineering degree and P.ENG in BC or nearing completion • 5 to 10 years of distribution line design experience • Proficient in non-linear powerline design software • Familiar with CSA standards and utility practices • Solid problem-solving skills with a focus on safety Contribute to transformative power delivery projects that connect communities with WSP's creative mindset.
