Under the supervision of a technical director recognized for her rigor and people-oriented leadership, you will contribute to improving processes, supporting plants, and leading major projects within a highly specialized team. What we expect from you Operations Support Establish, monitor, and maintain process standards to ensure efficiency, quality, and environmental performance. Diagnose process deviations, analyze their causes, and recommend innovative solutions. Implement industry best practices. Engineering Projects Propose process concepts and develop flow diagrams. Perform mass balances (using simulation software). Sizing equipment, pumps, piping, and control systems. Participate in the installation and commissioning of new processes. Research & Development Conduct process tests, studies, and characterizations. Evaluate equipment efficiency and adjust operating conditions. Supervise testing of new technologies and equipment. Desired Profile Bachelor’s degree in chemical, biotechnological, or mechanical engineering. Minimum 10 years of experience in pulp and paper (virgin or recycled pulping). Robust listening, diagnostic, and collaboration skills with mill teams. Ability to quickly build trusting relationships. Bilingualism (French/English). (Canada and United States) Availability for travel (approximately 33%, sometimes more depending on projects).
