Financial Controller Manufacturing Permanent position Victoriaville Salary starting from $85,000 per year, depending on experience Job type Permanent, full-time (40 h/week) Location Victoriaville In office required Why this position exists A rapidly growing manufacturing company, composed of several operational entities. We are looking for a strong, hands-on, and structured financial controller, capable of handling month-end and year-end processes in a fast-paced environment. This role is permanent from the start of employment. It is part of a long-term vision with a possible restructuring of the finance team, including a sharing of responsibilities and more strategic analysis. Your role You will act as a key person between operations, the accounting team, and management. Main responsibilities Produce and analyze monthly financial statements Handle month-end and year-end processes (audit) Ensure the reliability of balance sheet reconciliations in a multi-company context Manage and understand manufacturing inventory issues Oversee intercompany transactions and re-billings Support the accounting team in daily issues Participate in process improvements and ERP enhancements Respond to quick operational requests from management and field teams Context to know (important) High-paced manufacturing environment About 18 entities, with a majority operational ERP in place with ongoing improvements, especially on inventory and production Frequent interruptions; must enjoy being solicited and quickly picking up a file This is not a closed office role nor a position focused on remote work Desired profile Experience 3 to 5 years or more of relevant experience in accounting or control Experience in manufacturing highly desired Multi-company experience considered a major asset Skills Excellent mastery of Excel (advanced level) Comfortable with ERPs; Prextra is an asset Good understanding of inventories, costing, and cost of goods sold Education Bachelors degree in accounting or finance CPA not required; hands-on experience is prioritized Attitude Autonomy, rigor, and positive judgment Ability to manage pressure and changing priorities Team spirit, on-site presence, and availability Comfortable being interrupted and functioning in action Conditions and benefits Permanent position from the start of employment Salary starting from 85k Comprehensive group insurance Competitive vacation Paid time off during the holiday season Stable, human, and collaborative environment Medium-term advancement opportunities To apply Send your CV to Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2om747
