Located on the shores of Georgian Bay, we serve some of the most complex and disadvantaged individuals in Ontario and are the sole provider of high-secure forensic mental health services in the province. The Manager of the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy Program is currently seeking a full-time Regional Float Therapist. The purpose of the position is to plan, conduct and deliver structured psychotherapy services under the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) Program including individual and group cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and cognitive processing therapy (CPT) for individuals who are experiencing depression and/or anxiety (including obsessive-compulsive concerns and post-traumatic stress). The OSP Program consists of a network of organizations working together to deliver and sustain effective psychotherapy. The regional float therapist may provide services from a variety of service delivery locations across the Central North region and/or virtually, as determined by regional needs. *Please Note: This position offers a hybrid work environment consisting of in-office and remote work. Office location is 952 Jones Road, Midland, ON.* **For information about funding incentives for nurses, our enhanced employee referral program, housing, orientation and other employment-related information please follow this link to our employment web page.** **KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:** - Conduct assessments (i.e., Diagnostic Assessment Research Tool, PHQ-9, GAD-7 and other diagnostic specific assessments) to inform symptoms experienced by client and individualized treatment plans. - Provide individual and group protocol-based structured psychotherapy, including CBT, CPT and PE, in adherence with the OSP Clinical Model and Training guidelines. - Provide psychotherapy services virtually and in person based on client and program needs. - Participate in clinical consultation and related activities in adherence with fidelity monitoring requirements and program guidelines. - Participate in the OSP Training Program and ongoing education as required. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports in adherence with Regulatory College and program specific requirements, including collecting relevant data to evaluate client and service outcomes. - Collaborate with team members across the OSP program’s network of organizations in the provision of care. - Contribute to ongoing program development and program evaluation and implement new practices as required. - Evening work may be required throughout this role. - Be able to travel to Central North Region is required periodically. **REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:** - Bachelor's Degree in a health-related discipline. Required - Master's Degree in a health-related discipline. Preferred - Documented evidence of formal CBT, CPT and PE training with supervision/clinical consultation. Required - Registered member in good standing with applicable professional college (e.g. College of Nurses of Ontario, Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario). Required and Competence to perform the controlled act of psychotherapy per an applicable professional college (e.g. College of Nurses of Ontario, Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario). Required - Must have a valid driver’s license. Required - Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in the delivery of evidence-based CBT and CPT, working with people with depression and/or anxiety (including obsessive compulsive concerns and post-traumatic stress). Required - Previous experience in the delivery of evidence-based CBT and CPT following the OSP Model. Preferred - The science and practice of structured psychotherapy including a full range of psychotherapeutic and assessment techniques to assess, plan, coordinate and implement specific clinical protocols. - Diagnostic categories and criteria as listed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-V). - The etiology and treatment of depressive and anxiety-based disorders. - Emergency procedures as taught in Emergency First Response, Crisis Intervention and fire training in order to promote consistent practices in response to emergency events, e.g., Code Blue; Code White, Code Red. - Program and hospital policies/procedures in order to practice within the expected standards of the organization and to recognize abnormal events that may affect client care/safety that need to be reported. - Relevant sections of legislation, i.e. Mental Health Act, Personal Health Information Protection Act, Regulated Health Professions Act, Health Care Consent Act, and professional standards to ensure compliance and consistency in provision of client care. - Computer software to generate correspondence and input data for a variety of hospital and program specific tools e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, GRASP/Workload measurement and electronic health records. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Strong clinical skills in the implementation of structured psychotherapies, particularly cognitive behavioural therapy. - Strong analytical and reasoning skills to develop and deliver clinically relevant, evidence-based services which will effectively address complex client needs. - Interpersonal and teamwork skills to maintain strong working relationships, problem solve and resolve conflict with inter-professional staff across the OSP network of organizations. - Time management, organizational and prioritization skills in order to effectively address multiple tasks/duties and timelines in a fast-paced and evolving environment. - Attention to detail in collecting and reporting client and program information. - Interpersonal and teamwork skills to maintain strong working relationships, problem solve and resolve conflict with inter-professional staff across the OSP network of organizations. - Time management, organizational and prioritization skills in order to effectively address multiple tasks/duties and timelines in a fast-paced and evolving environment. - Attention to detail in collecting and reporting client and program information. - Models and promotes core ethical practice, Waypoint Values (Caring, Respect, Accountability, Innovation) - Preference for proficiency in French/English language skills. **WHAT WE OFFER:** - A comprehensive and generous benefit plan including dental coverage, paid vacation and holidays, sick days and extended health benefits - Participation in the Health Care of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) - Relocation support program for eligible staff - Participation in the employee referral program - Professional development and mentorship opportunities - Access to Waypoint’s Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP) - Nurses may be eligible to participate in the Community Commitment Program for Nurses (CCPN), or the Tuition Support Program (TSPN) **HOW DO I APPLY?** Waypoint employees apply through the Employee Self-Service portal at and external applicants apply to Join our Team, Career Opportunities | Waypointby close of business (4:00 pm)on March 30th, 2026 quoting Job ID WC25-380.
