Small Engine Mechanic (New Lowell)

Overview We are seeking a skilled Small Engine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and have experience working with various small engines, including those found in Snowmobiles, ATV's, SXS's, and Dirt bikes. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and customer service skills to diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment effectively. Responsibilities - Diagnose and repair small engine equipment, ensuring optimal performance. - Perform routine maintenance on engines and related machinery. - Utilize hand tools and power tools to execute repairs and adjustments. - Interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues within engines. - Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs. - Assist in sales by recommending products or services based on customer requirements. - Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. - Engage in heavy lifting as necessary when handling equipment or parts. Qualifications - Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in small engine repair. - Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus. - Electrical experience to troubleshoot wiring and electrical components. - Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. - Previous mechanic experience is highly desirable, particularly with Snowmobile products. - Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients. - Ability to read and understand schematics for troubleshooting purposes. - Experience in automotive repair can be beneficial for this role.
