Waterside Retirement Lodge is a vibrant and licensed retirement community in Wasaga Beach, Ontario and offers 89 thoughtfully designed suites. To the west, Collingwood and The Blue Mountains also attract visitors much of the year. Under the direction of the Wellness Manager, the Resident Attendant is responsible and accountable for providing optimum recreation and wellness services in order to promote the well-being of each individual resident. Key Responsibilities include: - Resident Care & Observation: Observe, report, and document any changes in residents' health or status. - Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards. This includes complying with the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act and participating in mandatory training and safety/orientation programs. - Facility Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness of the lodge, report maintenance needs or hazards, and maintain resident equipment and records. - Teamwork & Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration with other departments. - Community Engagement: Assist visitors and volunteers, and conduct tours for potential residents.
