Duties - Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. - Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations. - Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. - Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. - Help train current kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Skills - Strong knowledge of food handling and safety practices in a kitchen environment. - Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation. - Strong communication skills to effectively work as part of a team. - Flexibility to adapt to changing menus or special dietary requests.
