About Us Advanced Roofing & Sheet Metal is a premium roofing and metal fabrication company based in Simcoe County, specializing in high-end custom homes, architectural roofing systems, and complex custom projects. We are looking for a motivated, organized, hard-working assistant to work directly alongside the owner in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. This is an ideal opportunity for a college or university student looking for summer work and real-world experience in entrepreneurship, operations, manufacturing, sales, and business management. What This Role Looks Like No two days are the same. One day may involve: - responding to emails and helping manage schedules - driving to meetings, suppliers, or jobsites - organizing projects and helping keep operations running smoothly - assisting with admin work and communication - helping in the shop with metal fabrication and manufacturing - assisting with content creation and marketing - solving problems and handling whatever the day throws at us This is not a traditional office job. You will work closely with the owner throughout the day and be involved in many areas of the business. The pace is fast, the expectations are high, and the hours can sometimes be long — but you will learn a tremendous amount about how a growing business operates.
