Front Desk Agent (Wasaga Beach)

Who We’re Looking For We are seeking a part-time Front Desk Agent to join us. The ideal candidate isn't just a "checker-in" - you are a problem solver, a local expert, and a team player who isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves. Whether you’re welcoming guests to our accommodations, cottages, or ensuring the laundry is crisp and folded, you take pride in the details. Duties & Responsibilities - Provide a warm, genuine welcome. Manage the check-in/check-out process and encourage return bookings. - Answer phones, manage reservations, and provide knowledgeable info about our property policies and the local area. - Maintain constant communication with Housekeeping regarding room status, moves, or special guest requests. - Oversee the laundry room during your shift, including washing, drying, and immediate folding of linens and towels to keep operations running smoothly. - Keep the reception area clean, organized, and inviting at all times. Qualifications - Naturally positive, enthusiastic, and a "can-do" problem solver. - A self-starter who can multitask under pressure and work independently without constant supervision. - Excellent verbal and written communication. Reliability and punctuality are non-negotiable. - Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Experience Requirements - Minimum 1 year of Front Desk experience OR general administrative/customer service experience. - Solid computer skills and the ability to learn our booking system quickly. Hours & Availability - This is a part time position offering: around 30 hours/week in the summer season and around 20 hours/week during the off-peak season(weekend shifts only during the off week season). - Flexibility: Available to work weekends and holidays.
