Compensation is flexible and will be commensurate to your ability, motivation & experience. We are looking for an experienced pharmacist to join our team! This is an opportunity to apply your skills at our two independently owned pharmacies in Barrie. Springwater Pharmacy opened in 2016 and provides specialty non-sterile compounding services to the area. Eagle Ridge Pharmacy serves south-central Barrie at the Huronia Urgent Care Clinic. The ideal applicant will be motivated to succeed and provide outstanding service to our patients. If you would like to learn more about who we are, please visit our websites: & - as independent owners and pharmacists ourselves, we understand how important it is for you to have a work workplace that allows you to feel supported and respected, and practice to your full potential as a pharmacist. Pharmacy management experience is a significant asset. This is a job where you will be expected to help build business, retain customers, and give people a reason to choose our pharmacies. The right candidate will be motivated to do all the little things that allow a pharmacy to run smoothly and efficiently. Minimum Expectations for Application: - Completion of a pharmacy degree program (B.Sc.Phm or PharmD) and be registered with OCP in good standing (Class A). - Above average communication skills, verbal and written. Comfort with conducting minor ailment assessments. - Ability to recognize appropriate opportunities for MedsCheck medication reviews and other professional services, and be able to meet all expectations for documentation required. - Available for shifts at any opening hour of both pharmacies (8:30am-7:30pm Mon-Fri, 9:30am-3pm Saturday). Schedule is estimated to average 35 hours per week, with more/less as required by the business (for example, covering vacation time for other pharmacy staff). This position will require you to be available to work a 5 hour shift on Saturdays (excepting planned vacation time). We are closed Sundays and all stat holidays.
