The Wasaga Beach Chamber of Commerce is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Summer Student to assist with administrative and office support functions.

This role is ideal for a student interested in developing professional office skills while gaining experience in a fast-paced, community-focused organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide general administrative support to the Chamber office

Assist with data entry, record keeping, and database updates

Support event coordination and member communications

Prepare documents, reports, and correspondence

Respond to inquiries and assist members as needed

Support sales efforts for the annual Chamber Guidebook, including outreach and coordination

Provide support to Chamber initiatives as required

Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High level of organization and attention to detail

Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed

Must have own transportation and access to a personal computer

Comfortable working remotely part of the week

Canada Summer Jobs Requirements:

Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment

Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee protection under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act

Must have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) and be legally entitled to work in Canada
