Job Benefits: - Pay $21.00 per hour - Benefits Plan available after working 30+ hours per week* - 4% Vacation Pay on every pay - Flexible hours The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following: - Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and personal care including eating, dressing, transferring, toileting, hygiene, grooming, and bathing as per client's care plan - Supporting client with any assigned exercises daily if required - Providing medication support and management - Providing cognitive, social, emotional, behavioral and spiritual support - Maintaining open communication with client and nurses - Monitoring care plan and adding detailed documentation with any changes and updates - Responding to all emergency situations - All other duties, as assigned Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to: - PSW certification from a public college/learning center OR additional NACC certification is preferred* - PSW experience of over 2 years is *required** - Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license - Valid CPR/First Aid certification - Completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check within last 6 months - 2 Satisfactory qualified references - Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions - Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters Please submit the appropriate documents for review.
