Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in medication administration, ensuring patient care, and maintaining an organized pharmacy setting. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Help compounding certain prescriptions Provide exceptional patient care by answering inquiries and addressing concerns regarding medications. Maintain inventory by restocking medications and supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety protocols. Process prescription orders and manage medication records with attention to detail. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate effective medication administration. Keep the pharmacy area clean, organized, and compliant with health standards. Requirements Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of medication administration practices and medical terminology is essential. Robust communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills are necessary for success in this role.
