Description
Senior Human Resources Coordinator – responsible for HR operations, ensuring a positive employee experience and smooth people operations. What You Will Do - Serve as the first point of employee contact for HR matters, such as benefits, onboarding, time and attendance, and other employee inquiries. - Respond to employee queries with professionalism and care, turning routine HR interactions into positive experiences. - Enter and maintain employee records through the employee life cycle in the HRIS system (Workday) and the Benefit Administrator portal. - Audit HR systems regularly to ensure data integrity. - Generate employee‑related paperwork (employment verification, transfers, notifications, etc.). - Develop and maintain standard processes and/or checklists; streamline as needed to identify efficiencies. - Maintain records, personnel files and tracking systems; support report requests as required. - Assist with weekly hours balancing relating to payroll processing. - Support new‑hire documentation with the employee onboarding process. - Provide day‑to‑day administration and contribute to broader HR initiatives. Qualifications - Must Have - 1–2 years’ experience as an HR Administrator, HR Assistant or HR Coordinator in a fast‑paced work environment. - Post‑secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources or Business Administration. - Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Solid record‑keeping and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines. - Preferred - Experience with Workday or similar HRIS platform. - Some payroll processing experience. - CHRP designation (or actively working toward it).
